Décidément, les douchebags ne sont même plus les bienvenus dans leur propre berceau : les boites de nuit.
Republic, un club de Nouvelle Orléans, a lancé récemment une campagne anti-abrutis, insistant sur le fait que si n’importe quelle personne ne respectait pas le dress-code de la boite, à savoir « pas de Ed Hardy, pas de Christain Audigier, pas d’Affliction » etc. elle ne passerait pas les portes du club.
Le slogan « If it’s on the Jersey Shore, it’s not coming through the door » (si c’est dans Jersy Shore, ça ne passe pas la porte) est tout simplement magique. C’est un peu la revanche de toutes les personnes qui ont arrêté de sortir en boîte (comme moi) parce que trop bouiboui-flashy-poney-stéroïds ça faisait mal aux yeux. Le commentaire du responsable de l’établissement, dans le Huffington Post, donne le coup de grâce :
« any other knock bedazzled tee shirts or hideous foil inks. The dress code isn’t about the brands, but the people that wear those brands. If a big beefy guy, over worked-out with way too much hair gel is copping an attitude at the door or anything within that realm, he’s not getting through. Ultimately if the clientele in the club isn’t starting fights or disprespecting women, everyone in the venue can have a good time. »
What if Snooki really wants to see Spoon, would she be bounced at their upcoming Republic show? « Absolutely, Thomas answers, « if Snooki is wearing anything that Snooki wears, the same Jersey Shore-esque clothing she is known for and rocking a pouf. » He points out that « If Snooki has a life changing event and starts dressing like a normal human being, by all means — come and see Spoon. »
